Thursday, January 12/12, 7pm – Those Ubiquitous Chicken Breasts - SORRY SOLD OUT!
Chicken breasts are lean, packed full of protein, and always on your mind when someone says “I feel like chicken tonight”… but, what to do with them. Chef Dez is ready in the kitchen to give you some great ideas. Bring your appetites as he prepares for you Chilli Rubbed Chicken with Cornbread, Cajun Chicken with Black Bean Succotash, and a classic tomato & garlic Chicken Provencale. Dry rubs and brining are just a couple of the myriad of topics slated for tonight’s class. Chicken will never be the same in your home again.

Wednesday, January 25/12, 7pm - Ahoy Matey! Comfort Food from the Sea - SORRY SOLD OUT!
Get in the Galley with Chef Dez as he demonstrates some of the most delicious seafood comfort recipes. Tonight we will make scrumptious Spicy Seaside Stew served with Soda Bread, Whitefish with a decadent Sundried Tomato Butter Sauce, and his tasty version of Clam Chowder which combines the best of New York red and Boston white clam chowders. Miss this class and you’ll have to walk the plank!

Tuesday, February 7/12, 7pm – Super Fasta Pasta
Pasta is a very popular meal option, but who wants to make a sauce that has to simmer for hours? Chef Dez has some great, super fast pasta dishes to share with you tonight for your busy lifestyles. Tonight we will indulge in classic Italian Linguine Puttanesca, delicious Pesto Cream Sauce on pasta with grilled chicken, and Pasta Fresca d’Estate (Italian for Fresh Summer Pasta). Wednesday, February 22/12, 7pm – New Orleans Food, Mardi Gras Style! - SORRY SOLD OUT!
Mardi Gras’ Fat Tuesday was yesterday Feb.21st – did you miss out? There is no need to worry when you can celebrate with Lepp Farm Market and Chef Dez! Chef Dez will take you through his versions of favourite Mardi Gras dishes. Find out what a true gumbo is with Hop n’ Shrimp Gumbo to start off this celebration. Mouthwatering garlic buttered Cajun Chicken with Louisiana Red Beans & Rice for your main course and Southern Sweet Biscuits from scratch with Rum Flambéed Bananas & vanilla bean ice cream for the best dessert you will ever have!

Thursday, March 1/12, 7pm - Rustic Italian Soups & Crusty Bread – Back by Popular Demand!
Even though winter is over everyone loves soup and bread! Chef Dez will show you how easy it is to create flavourful soups and crusty bread from scratch. Tonight we will make Oven Roasted Tomato Soup garnished with homemade croutons, favourful Italian Minestrone, and show you how to make Crusty Italian Bread from scratch that requires no kneading! This bread is amazing and is as beautiful as ones you would pay $5 for at a specialty bakery… and because it requires no kneading, you won’t believe how easy this is! Soup and bread will never be the same in your home again!

Tuesday, March 27/12, 7pm - Garlic, Garlic, Garlic!
Join Chef Dez with this celebration of his favourite ingredient – Garlic! Garlic is one of the oldest cultivated plants known to mankind and has been hailed as one of world’s most celebrated medicinal vegetables. He will take you through a three-course meal focused on this beloved little bulb. We will explore simplicity with Roasted Garlic Mediterranean Bruscetta as an appetizer; fall in love with the richness of Garlic Tarragon Cream Fettucine & Scallops as the main course; and for dessert… Garlic Gewurztraminer Fudge! Yes, white fudge infused with the taste of garlic – this last recipe is the perfect addition to any fruit & cheese platter where contrasting flavours are the focus!

Wednesday, April 4/12, 7pm - Greek Family Food
The focus of tonight’s class is Greek favourites that the whole family will love… even the most discriminating kids! On the menu tonight is Baked Salt & Pepper Pita Chips served with Sundried Tomato Hummus, lemon drenched Greek Rubbed Chicken on Rice, and Greek Burgers with fresh homemade Tzatziki. Tuesday, April 24/12, 7pm – Just Bring a Salad
How many times have you been told “Just bring a salad” when attending a pot-luck dinner? You don’t want to bring the same old boring salad, you want to impress them, but don’t know where to turn. Chef Dez and Lepp Market to the rescue! Tonight Dez will give you some great ideas by preparing the following amazing salad recipes: Fresh Mushroom Salad with Spicy Bacon Dressing, grilled South-Western Steak Salad with avocado dressing, and his famous Surf & Turf Caesar Salad with bacon, prawns, and homemade croutons! All are sure to impress everyone on the guest list!

Wednesday, May 9/12, 7pm - Mother’s Day Brunch
Going to an overcrowded restaurant for Mother’s Day is no way to treat the special women in your life. Chef Dez has a collection of great brunch recipes to share with you tonight that will prepare you to give her the royal treatment she deserves this coming Mother’s Day. On the menu is authentic yeast risen Belgian Waffles with fruit and Homemade Syrup, Savoury Cheddar & Mushroom Omelettes, and Pineapple Muesli Yogurt Parfaits made with fresh baked Muesli from scratch!

Tuesday, May 22/12, 7pm - Rustic Italian Cooking - Back by Popular Demand
Everyone loves Italian food! Chef Dez is the one to learn from as he will show you how to prepare these recipes you will fall in love with. We will start off with a great Mediterranean Salad, and then move on to a pasta course with a classic Linguine Puttanesca – this sauce can be made in the same time it takes you to boil water and cook the pasta – great for those nights when you get home late from work! For the main course we will have Chicken topped with Goat Cheese and a Butter Sauce infused with Sundried Tomatoes and Artichokes served over Rosemary Garlic Rice.

Wednesday, June 6/12, 7pm - All About Stir-Fry! Back by Popular Demand
Let’s get wokking with Chef Dez. Stir frys are a great meal time option because they are quick and usually chocked full of vegetables! Tonight Chef Dez will rekindle your passion for wok cooking with these incredible recipes: Classic Beef & Broccoli, mouthwatering Spicy ‘Peach & Heat’ Pork on rice, and a delicious Chicken Shanghai Chow Mein.

Thursday, June 21/12, 7pm – Fire up the BBQ for Summer
Summer is the outdoor entertaining season and it is finally here! If you are looking for some great BBQ recipes, then you’ve come to the right place. Chef Dez will be demonstrating and serving the following tasty recipes: First we will start off with Fire Roasted Corn & Black Bean Salsa served with tortilla chips as an appetizer. Then we will move onto Grilled Vegetable Salad with Blueberry Vinaigrette, delicious Grilled Cinnamon Pork Tenderloin with Pinot Gris Applesauce for the main course, and for dessert... grilled seasonal fruit with Vanilla Ice Cream. The relationship between you and your BBQ will never be the same again.
