Baking with Cheddar Cheese
There’s nothing like the warm inviting aroma of baking
in the winter. Join Chef Dez as he demonstrates his
favorite savoury cheddar cheese baking recipes from
his second book. On the menu today is: simple Homemade
Cheddar Sesame Crackers, the most amazing Peppered Cheese
Bread, incredibly tender Ham & Cheddar Scones, and
the World’s Best Cornbread. What a way to add some variety
to your home baking repertoire of recipes!
December 12/13, 7pm – Appetizer Ideas for Holiday Entertaining
Are you entertaining the troops this upcoming holiday
season but have run out of ideas? Let Chef Dez and Lepp
Farm Market give you some fantastic ideas by cooking
up some great recipes tonight that will leave even the
most discriminating Foodie satisfied. First we will
start with the best Sweet & Sour Meatballs you have
ever had. Then move onto Broiled Italian Tomatoes, Artichoke
& Asiago Dip with tortilla chips, and last, but
not least we’ll make Rosemary Maple Bacon Jam (yes,
I said Bacon Jam!) and serve it with crackers &
January 6/14, 7pm - Rustic Italian Cooking - Back by
Everyone loves Italian food! Chef Dez is the one to
learn from as he will show you how to prepare these
recipes you will fall in love with. We will start off
with a great Mediterranean Salad, and then move on to
a pasta course with a classic Linguine Puttanesca –
this sauce can be made in the same time it takes you
to boil water and cook the pasta – great for those nights
when you get home late from work! For the main course
we will have Chicken topped with Goat Cheese and a Butter
Sauce infused with Sundried Tomatoes and Artichokes
served over Rosemary Garlic Rice.
January 21/14, 7pm - Italian Gnocchi Pasta from Scratch!
No matter how you pronounce it, Gnocchi is the most
amazing potato pasta from Italy. Join Chef Dez as he
shows you how to create these little potato pasta dumpling
pasta shapes from scratch and then serves them to you
in these three great recipes: Italian Sausage &
Gnocchi Soup, Gnocchi in a Lamb Meat Sauce, and Gnocchi
in Pesto Cream Sauce.
February 12/14, 7pm - Cooking for the Love of Your Life
What are you serving your Sweetheart on the 14th? Chef
Dez has some great ideas for you. Tonight you will learn
some romantic recipes that will be sure to ignite the
passion. We will start off with Pan Seared Scallops
in Sage Brown Butter, then move onto Corn, Date &
Goat Cheese on Greens, Rack of Lamb with Blueberry Wine
Reduction and Garlic Mashed Potatoes for the main course,
and then Quinoa Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Bean Ice
Cream for dessert! You will have them swooning!

The focus of tonight’s class is Greek favourites that
the whole family will love… even the most discriminating
kids! On the menu tonight is Baked Salt & Pepper
Pita Chips served with Sundried Tomato Hummus, lemon
drenched Greek Rubbed Chicken on Rice, and Greek Burgers

Beef Stew, Classic Colcannon (the best cabbage mashed

Even though winter is over, everyone loves soup! Chef
Dez’s soup classes are always so popular so now he’s
back with more great soups. Tonight we start off with
a Rustic Italian Bread Soup, then Dez’s version of a
classic Mulligatawny Soup, and we finish the evening
with a delicious Butternut Squash & Coconut Soup.
As a bonus (and a perfect soup accompaniment) we will
also learn how easy it is to make Irish Soda Bread.
