Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - Easy Rustic Soups & Crusty Italian Bread – Back by Popular Demand!
Even though winter is long gone, anytime is great for Soup & Bread! Chef Dez will show you how easy it is to create flavourful soups and crusty bread from scratch. Tonight we will make Oven Roasted Tomato Soup garnished homemade croutons, favourful Italian Minestrone, and show you how to make Crusty Italian Bread from scratch that requires no kneading! This bread is amazing and is as beautiful as ones you would pay $5 for at a specialty bakery… and because it requires no kneading, you won’t believe how easy this is! Soup and bread will never be the same in your home again! This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!

Wednesday, May 22, 2013 - Italian Sausages
Italian Sausages are everywhere, but where are the good recipe ideas for them? …Here at UFV with Chef Dez, that’s where! Tonight’s class will consist of three great favorites that are bound to be regular meals with your family. We’ll start off with Dez’s famous Sausage & Fennel Pasta, then the most incredible Sausage Tomato & Herb Frittata, and finally put the hotdogs away as we are making Sausages & Bell Peppers in Buns! Your family will thank you for taking this class!

Wednesday, May 29, 2013 - Greek Family Food
The focus of tonight’s class is Greek favourites that the whole family will love… even the most discriminating kids! On the menu tonight is Baked Salt & Pepper Pita Chips served with Sundried Tomato Hummus, lemon drenched Greek Rubbed Chicken on Rice, and Greek Burgers with fresh homemade Tzatziki. Come to this class and your family will thank you! This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!

Wednesday, June 5, 2013 - Chef Dez Salute to Chipotle Peppers
Tonight is all about the incredible smoky heat of chipotle peppers! Three incredible recipes by Chef Dez that pay homage to this incredible ingredient. First we will start off with a Chipotle Beer & Chicken Pasta, then a Southwestern version of the classic dish: Steak Diane, and then finally Linguine in Roasted Corn Chipotle Cream Sauce. If you love chipotle, you don’t want to miss this class!!

Wednesday, June 12, 2013 - All About Stir-Fry!
Let’s get wokking with Chef Dez. Stir frys are a great meal time option because they are quick and usually chocked full of vegetables! Tonight Chef Dez will rekindle your passion for wok cooking with these incredible recipes: Classic Beef & Broccoli, mouthwatering Spicy ‘Peach & Heat’ Pork on rice, and a delicious Chicken Shanghai Chow Mein. This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!

Wednesday, June 19, 2013 - Rustic Italian Cooking
Everyone loves Italian food! Chef Dez is the one to learn from as he will show you how to prepare these recipes you will fall in love with. We will start off with a great Mediterranean Salad, and then move on to a pasta course with a classic Linguine Puttanesca – this sauce can be made in the same time it takes you to boil water and cook the pasta – great for those nights when you get home late from work! For the main course we will have Chicken topped with Goat Cheese and a Butter Sauce infused with Sundried Tomatoes and Artichokes served over Rosemary Garlic Rice.

Wednesday, June 26, 2013, 6:30pm - Tex Mex Cuisine!
If you love Mexican food, then you will want to take this class to help transform your everyday cooking into wonderful Mexican delights. Tonight Chef Dez will take you through his favorite Tex Mex dishes. Tonight we will make a simple but complex tasting Black Bean Soup, incredible Homemade Salsa, the most amazing Chunky Guacamole, and his version of Chicken Mole with Rice.
