Tuesday, May 20/14, 6:30pm - All About Stir-Fry!
Let’s get wokking with Chef Dez. Stir frys are a great meal time option because they are quick and usually chocked full of vegetables! Tonight Chef Dez will rekindle your passion for wok cooking with these incredible recipes: Classic Beef & Broccoli, mouthwatering Spicy ‘Peach & Heat’ Pork on rice, and a delicious Chicken Shanghai Chow Mein. This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!

Monday, May 26/14, 6:30pm - Rustic Soups & Crusty Italian Bread – Back by Popular Demand!
Even though winter is long gone, anytime is great for Soup & Bread! Chef Dez will show you how easy it is to create flavourful soups and crusty bread from scratch. Tonight we will make Oven Roasted Tomato Soup garnished homemade croutons, favourful Italian Minestrone, and show you how to make Crusty Italian Bread from scratch that requires no kneading! This bread is amazing and is as beautiful as ones you would pay $5 for at a specialty bakery… and because it requires no kneading, you won’t believe how easy this is! Soup and bread will never be the same in your home again! This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!

Wednesday, June 4/14, 6:30pm - Rustic Italian Cooking

Everyone loves Italian food! Chef Dez is the one to learn from as he will show you how to prepare these recipes you will fall in love with. We will start off with a great Mediterranean Salad, and then move on to a pasta course with classic Linguine Puttanesca – this sauce can be made in the same time it takes you to boil water and cook the pasta – great for those nights when you get home late from work! For the main course we will have Chicken topped with Goat Cheese and a Butter Sauce infused with Sundried Tomatoes and Artichokes served over Rosemary Garlic Rice. This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!

Tuesday, June 10/14, 6:30pm - Cook Like a Chef: Meat & Potatoes Edition
Have you ever watched Chefs on TV and thought “I wish I could cook like that”? Well now’s your chance! Tonight Chef Dez will teach you intricacies of some great classic Chef techniques. We will start off with parting out a whole chicken and then cooking/serving with probably the best Scalloped Potatoes you will ever have. Properly Pan Seared Steak is next on the menu and How to make a Wine Pan Sauce. These sauced steaks will be served with perfected Garlic Mashed Potatoes: you will learn why you should NEVER boil potatoes! This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!

Have you ever wanted to know how to make fresh pasta from scratch? This is the night for you! Chef Dez will walk you through the basics of fresh pasta making and he’ll make oodles of noodles for you to eat along with 3 great pasta sauces: Classic Tomato, Sausage & Fennel, and a great Lamb Sauce. You will feel like you’re in the heart of Italy tonight! This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!

Thursday, June 26/14, 6:30pm - Summer is Here! Fire up the BBQ!
We are now officially in the summer season and it’s time to get some great ideas for your BBQ instead of the common burgers and hot dogs. Come join Chef Dez as he share with you some secrets of perfecting cooking on the BBQ. Tonight’s class will consist of Cajun Grilled Flank Steak with grits, Grilled Meat Jambalaya, and Grilled Brie & Apple Pizza. You don’t want to miss this class – it will sell out for sure! This class is demonstration only by Chef Dez, but bring your appetite!
